New modules added

We've added some new Drupal modules to add extra functions to your site.

The modules include:

  • Content access - to create 'members only' pages.
  • Custom error - to write your own error pages for page not found (404) and access denied (403) errors.
  • Date - adds date functionality.
  • Embedded media field - to embed media such as YouTube videos, Flickr photos, etc.
  • File field & Image field - to allow file & image fileds to be added to content (via CCK).
  • Global redirect - redirects browsers to renamed paths.
  • Nodewords - so you can add meta tages to your site.
  • Page title - customise the title of pages.
  • Pathauto - allows you to rename URLs.
  • Webform & webform validation - to create, umm, web forms.
  • Views RSS - to create RSS feeds from the views module.

See the full list of ox4 Drupal modules.

To enable a module, log into your site as administrator, go to the navigation menu at the top of the page, click Site building > Modules > List. Check the box next to the module you want to enable. Click save at the bottom of the page.

Only enable modules that you actually use - the more modules you have enabled, the slower your site will run.
